    hello people, after formatted my pc and got everything reset... after installing java i couldn't load java files like other server clients... (.jar) its not opening at all so i try to open it and nothing happens , any suggestions / helps ?

    thank you for any help.

    Are you sure your loading the correct java version (bits version) and sure you don't have multiple downloads. of JDK or JRE

    I've a jre version in the programs (x86) and i just installed the jdk/jre in the normal program files idk tho

    Check your systems bits should be 86 or 64 and delete all jre/jdk versions and download the bits version require for your pc.

    What you need to do is right click the jar file, and click open with (if you do not have this, right click the jar file and click properties then click the change button under opens with). Click more apps, then click look for another app on this PC, then go to where you installed Java and go to the bin folder ("C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_131\bin"), and select javaw.exe and then it should now work fine.

    I tried that , my PC OS is 64 x64 , and I tried the x86 and the x64 java versions and none worked...
