So I have been considering investing into buying a tablet. I am just unsure on which one is best, what I need to look for, what ports I need, what they are compatible of, and etc. I have read several reviews online but you can never really go by those 100%. This is what I have gathered:

Ipads have the most/useful apps - NO FLASH (which would be bad for me? Unless it has something similar so I can watch youtube/other "movies" online...)
Ipads have excellent battery life ( no surprise there!)
Ipads are lmited to 64gb storage as far as I have seen? (confirm/deny?)

Windows 8/RT tablets are out of the question. From what I understand...they have absolutely NO ACCESS to outside apps besides what's in the store. If the windows OS's are any indication...yeah the apps are going to be bad either. (feel free to argue the point but make the argument really good and tell me why/give examples!)

Android tablets...these are the ones I am somewhat leaning to. As much as I LOVE ipads I just haven't read anything that they can play actually "decent" low memory grade games whatsoever. If I wanted to play let's say ... planets vs zombies I want to have that access!

So now some questions...and feel free to add more information in wherever you see fit/correct what I have typed!

    1) What are the best ipads atm?
    2) what are the best OS's for androids atm?
    3) what are the best processors atm for these tablets?
    4) are there any actual features I need to be looking for when I buy a tablet? suggestions?
    5) am I able to connect the tablet up to a tv etc?
    6) give me all info you can really... I am planning on buying one in probably september/november but I want to make sure I have as much information as I do for when I prepare to purchase one.

Money isn't really an issue...but I am not hoping to spend more than 1k$ on the tablet itself but if it is really good/a must need at that time we will see....

so yeah suggestions go go go ! all systems on!

$1000 on a tablet? Is there such thing as a $1000 tablet?! lol if you were on a budget I have a list of great ones, but for that money I just don't know. I would lean towards Android Tablets though. Although Apple has the extra battery life, Android is just simpler to use and more convenient.

This is all opinion based, but I'd recommend an Android, I've owned the same Android tablet for two years and have had no complaints. Just get an SD card to expand your memory capabilities.

The best tablet in terms of hardware is probably the iPad. The best overall is probably an Android Tablet (idk which one) and the best tablet for working/school imo is a Windows RT (they come with full office preinstalled). However the only downfall to Windows is there is not a lot of applications available for them.

    1. Best ipad is probably the air
    2. android 4.4 is the newest OS for android is not fully available for all devices other than Nexus devices.
    3. Varies
    4. depends you want/need
    5. Yes you can either us Chromecast (can be used with most windows/android/apple products) or a simple HDMI cable
    6. like I said above it all depends on what you want it for and what features you're most likely going to use

FYI most tablets/phones have limited storage and most don't take external storage devices. However you can usually store most things like music, pictures, etc on cloud storage apps (such as iCloud/box/dropbox/etc) So in reality you can have a 16gb devices with more than 16gb of actual stuff stored on it through the use of Cloud storage.

My advice: Don't buy anything under $150.
I got myself this $80 non-branded tablet off Amazon and It's pretty unusable for most things.
Also, there aren't any accessories that match it, so go with a popular branded device.

Like most Apple products I wouldn't recommend buying any of them (either than a MacBook) unless you have another Apple device. Apple products work wonderfully together but don't really provide any benefits on their own.

I'd recommend any Google tablets, but I've had issues with faulty glass so I'd suggest a good case for it.

Ipads can have the sexy retina displays but it doesn't justify the price tag imo.
