if you cant afford to buy it twice, you cant afford it. On that note, you should be able to take it apart just get a small screwdriver bit set. Note this will also void your warranty as well so you should take that into consideration.

I recently made a mostly white PC and currently have the Aorus 3070 GPU which is all black.
Now, to match my white aesthetic, I'm considering to spray paint parts of it and use some white wrap for the tricky bits.
The front plate is held on by 4 screws so I can spray paint that without a super crazy dissemble of the GPU (I'll most likely lose the GEFORCE RTX branding though...). For the rest of it, I'm thinking of putting a wrap over the visible parts so I don't have to disassemble my GPU. Temps for me don't usually exceed 50 celcius.
Has anybody got any experience in doing something like this and could maybe give me some tips and pointers? I don't want to break my GPU in the process or realize that paint/wraps might not work.

Whilst I have painted GPU parts before I personally wouldn't do it again and nor do I recommend it after time in the case with the heat the paint started to chip and flake, it's more plausible that I did a shit job and used crap materials but even if that is the case it still looked awful after time, we swapped to wrapping and unless your good this it can also be frustrating getting things to line up and look cosmetically good so in the end, I abandoned the plan and just went stock for the GPU to save myself stress.
big no for me. you gonna cry hard after
Thanks for the responses, I won't attempt this.
You can use nail polish lol its not conductive
