in terms of memory, you won't notice any difference in daily use between 2933 vs 3200 MHz so honestly just get whichever CPU seems better
It's not like 10th gen would be a slouch for gaming, though. You can still have a really good gaming PC with 10th gen. I'm still on 5th gen (X99) myself lol

Not too sure about that, it's at 0 . It would have to go minus to even be remotely close to his IQ.

Wasn't suggesting otherwise, but OP is likely going to spend the same amount on an i9 10th-gen as an i7 12th-gen would cost.
They're all fine for gaming, especially if there is no GPU yet, just depends how much you care about 'bang for your buck' and new features.

Honestly, looking at the 12th gen specs, I really do think I messed up by not building around a 12th gen CPU but I guess that's for next time.

Purchased the Intel 11th Gen i9 11900K CPU now (sorry XLR8).
I literally have no money left for a PSU and case let alone throwing in a GPU.

    Big L.

I'm considering this case https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/403547184713 (it's £55 with 6 fans included). It's not white but the 6 fans really do save me a lot of money. Opinions?

Brought the NZXT z73 AIO cooler

    NZXT H710i in white brought

Just waiting for the rest of the parts to arrive in the post.

    Here's the final build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/7bh7C6

I will add a GPU in the future and possibly additional RAM (total 32gb) and storage. Will see with usage.

Guess all that'll be left to update on this thread is the actual final product once I've assembled everything.

Thanks you so much to everybody that has commented. You were all extremely helpful.

Could somebody advise me on the following?

I brought my motherboard from Amazon. I paid £227 for the board and £14.85 for shipping charges.

Now, I have received a letter from ParcelForce stating that I need to pay £57.08 for customs...

    What should/can I do? There's no way I'm going to pay £57.

    Update: Never mind

Amazon said they will ask the seller to pay it or refund me the cost of customs! Great!

Could somebody review over my parts and if there's room for improvement on the price? Am I missing anything and will be parts be fine?

The build contains 2 graphics cards which I'm hoping will allow for an excellent gaming experience and I'm hoping the I3 is more than powerful enough for what a user might actually need?

The elements you put in that list look nice, but I'm not a specialist in this field, so I can't fully guarantee they will be perfect for your needs. Moreover, there are a lot of platforms that can review them or give you some help. For example, I have been fixing my laptops for the past years at poole pc repairs, which are the best in my area. I am sure you can look at their platform to find some nice and useful information. On top of that, you can ask them to take a look for a more professional review and opinion.

Well, I've ended up refunding my mobo because fkin Amazon won't help cover the £57 customs fee.
I have also returned my i9 11th gen processor as the points Corey made are pretty valid.

The new CPU is Intel Core i9-12900K 3.2 GHz 16-Core Processor
My motherboard is Asus ROG STRIX Z690-A GAMING WIFI D4 ATX LGA1700 Motherboard

Power supply arrived without Cables (fkin eBay) so I've switched that too a Corsair CP-9020187-UK 750 W RM750x Fully Modular ATX Power Supply - White (haven't purchased yet).

Once I get my refunds on the mobo and CPU, I'll buy the new parts.

Buying parts is such a headache!!!!
