Helping a irl friend build his first gaming computer. Here are the requirements

    1. 1080p.
    2. All white theme.
    3. $1000 Budget
    4. Able to play games at 60 fps with high+ graphics.
    5. He absolutely wants 16gb of ram. Nothing less but more is cool.

    I built him this list.

Thoughts? Leave comments or make a new list and hit it up. Trying to get the best possible 1080p gaming for his $1000 budget. Hes not too familiar with overclocking and such which is why I stuck to the i5 7500 and not the 7600k.

Great build, currently have a 1060 with an i5-6600k and there's not any games I can't really play in 1080p - high - ultra graphics.

edit: oh shit i forgot a motherboard disregard my list

anything from a 960 gpu and an i5 and above will run 1080 just fine

The build you done is actually decent couldn't really think of how to top it myself..

I done this anyways JIC, but the storage won't be enough unless he already has an external hdd

you think i should save the $30 and use a giant heatsink instead of a liquid cooler? tbh maybe it would be better bc no overclocking will even get done but the liquid cooler lines look cool af

A normal heatsink would be enough to cool the processor but would be noiser than watercooling and for 30$ unless you want to put it into a better graphics card or processor, I believe you should stay with watercooling

I mean, if your mates willing to spend $20 more, this is a better build.

    Did some changes to yours.
The watercooling is pointless as you can't even overclock that cpu as it's not a k series.
