Hey fellas,
I am currently using an old laptop which is literally in pieces, cracked at the back in two places which resulted in me having to get a new screen which then fucked up the casing around it because it would not clip back on and I literally have Masking Tape holding it together....
So Yeah thought it would be a good idea to get my first PC which I will buy the components and put together.
Just wanted your opinion on the build which I currently have, any improvements I can make and such, I've spoke with a few people on this forum and had some nice feedback and suggestions overall, just want to get some more see what you think.
So here it is:
Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz Quad-Core - System Build - PCPartPicker United Kingdom
CPU
Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor
CPU Cooler
Corsair H100i v2 70.7 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
Motherboard (PRICE PAID £116.99)
Asus Z170-A ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
Memory (PRICE PAID £39.99)
Kingston HyperX Fury Black 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2133 Memory
Storage (PRICE PAID £106.00)
Samsung 850 EVO-Series 500GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Power Supply (PRICE PAID £120.00)
EVGA 850W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply
Video Card
MSI GeForce GTX 1070 AERO

Antec Dark Fleet DF-85 Case
The bits in Green are the parts I already have.
EDIT:
After seraching up about the case I was going to get for free I decided not to take the offer and just spend the extra in getting a more modern/efficient one seen below
This is the new build with all components being the graphics card and the case put together

Looks good bro
Hmm, I like the equipment you have currently to make it.
Are you going be using this custom PC?
I'd kill for this PC. +1 for the 1070.
My budget for the card was £300.00 but then I was told about this card which came out friday, so I thought for the extra £80 - £100 I might as well, plus hopefully by the time I purchase it there may be some deals, since I am buying bit by bit the card would be one of the last bits I purchase
Just Ordered the motherboard.
I'm getting the GTX 1070 as the first upgrade for my system this summer
But, if you have a bit extra cash laying around, I would recommend this instead; Core i7-6800K 3.4GHz 6-Core - System Build - PCPartPicker United Kingdom
Newer motherboard and CPU and more powerful, for an extra £200 you're pretty much guaranteed CPU upgradability for the next 3-4 years on the same mobo
