Hopefully you're building, because you'll get more for what you spend it on. If you're building, I have a couple questions.

Does the budget consist of just the PC itself or monitor, mouse, keyboard?

Are you wanting Intel over AMD?

The PC itself I've got multiple monitors, mice and keyboards already. I have got assistance if building it at home is better. Either, whichever one is best.

This will be relevant for like 4 years and you can always get a second 780.

    Nice build

To the OP i would suggest getting this case if you're going with NZXT an extra 30$ in your pocket man

    H440 - NZXT

and it looks nice but if i were you I'd make the effort to get the i7

This is also a nice case which maggot suggested on my build a while back i like this case its pretty quiet

Here is something different then your everyday Intel NVIDIA computer. You'll have no problem maxing out any game out today and will have the ability to record/stream if wanted too. You have many cores for multi-tasking clocked at 4.0Ghz and can easily be overclocked if wanted, but would suggest getting a CPU cooler. It's lower then your budget which gives flexibility to either save money, or purchase a cooler and your Operating System if you don't want to pirate it. You can remove the SSD if you want to save even more money, but will increase your boot up speed if you save your OS to it. Currently has 16GB of RAM, but can handle up to 32GB and you will be able to add another GPU if desired.

    Good luck.

You've already gotten a few suggestions above so I'm not going to waste your time saying PCPartPicker again.

Building your own gaming PC is by far the best way to go. I've looked at Alienware before and they range anywhere from $1000 to $3500, which is way out of my price range. Maggot gave you a nice build, and I'd definitely suggest running by it. Good luck with it though, bud.
