Alright guys I have an ATI Radeon 4870 HD Sapphire GPU and a Rosewill 500W psu. The graphics card requires two 6 pin connectors. My PSU has one. Was thinking about buying a molex to 6pin adapter. Something like this: Logisys Model AD201 - Newegg.com

Was wondering if anybody here uses an adapter like that. How reliable are they etc

I've seen so many different stories of every type of adapter catching on fire. I'd only go with an extremely highly rated one.

It's cheap, definitely worth the try.

Thanks for the replies guys. I ended up ordering this one: StarTech Model LP4PCIEXADAP - Newegg.com

Will let you guys know if it works or not.
