You'll be fine with the 2500k, so that should save you a bit of money.
My preferred choice of graphics card at that price range would be: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814125423
Good build, though.

Of course he should buy it if he has the money, but he's $100 over-budget. And speaking of overclocking, after you overclock the 2500k (especially with that NH-D14) you don't even have to worry about the performance difference.
Honestly im just trying to make it a little bit cheaper but still really good. Should i change to an i5 3570k? But most people say go i7 because of hyperthreading
Hyperthreading actually makes little difference in practical applications. If you look at reviews comparing the two, they actually come quite close in performance. With games, the difference is negligible.
Between the 2500k and 3570k, the latter performs better, but like Killer 99 said, the 2500k is better at overclocking because it runs cooler.
If you want graphics card and power consuming CPU, I would suggest getting a better PSU (wattage).
ok well i came to a final decision to just get this Intel Core i7-2600K, EVGA GeForce GTX 660 Ti, NZXT Phantom 410 (White) - System Build - PCPartPicker i decided to keep the i7 2600k because couldn't i just over clock that and it beat the i5 2500k? plus i don't mind spending a few extra. So since i wanted the i7 i thought i might try the 660 ti my friend has it and he said he had no problems with it, so we'll see maybe i might change my mind. Anyways thanks for all the help
