I bought some 1600MHz RAM for my computer, but my BIOS says that I have 1333MHz RAM. Why?

Most boards will default to 1333. You need to change the frequency in your BIOS. If your board supports XMP, use it.

Also, if you have X 2400 sticks and a single 1333 stick, it will cap at 1333.
