Turn on the monitor before you turn on your PC
|
So I just finished my new built computer. I turn it on and everything is fine. The CPU is running along with all the power fans etc. The screen just won't turn on. It keeps saying no signal found. I tried it on different monitors and got the same result. What might the problem be here?
Turn on the monitor before you turn on your PC
i had a problem like that before turned out the bios was outdated so i had to get asus to send me a new bios chip out
is the cpu a amd fx8150?
Have you tried hooking up the monitor to another computer?
Are you using your onboard graphics or a dedicated card?
If you're using a dedicated graphics card, you have to plug the monitor into either of the graphics card and make sure they receive power. I had the same issue and I panicked like a little girl.
ok.
take out your dedicated card and plug in to the on-board video and see if it works.
also give us all the information of your build.
