cpu: amd sempron 140
first, go here and look at these overclocks that those people are getting. 3.82 GHz at 1.488v vcore with stock cooling.
my problem is that the max i can get my sempron 140 to is 3.1 GHz with 1.45v vcore and that isn't even stable at all. the best stable clock i can get is 3.01 GHz and i can get that with any safe (non-undervolt) voltage. it makes no sense
this is my stable setup that i always use:
i solved my problem, read my post down below
SOLVED!
CPU-Z Validator 3.1
yes! i did it.
the only problem was cause my DRAM speed was being pushed over it's maximum (from the FSB being pushed up) and thus not being able to post.
