Alienware sucks on multiple levels.
|
hey, next summer i will get a new computer. i am going for a really good gaming pc, not planning on buying parts and build my own since im lazy
well, i looked on the alienware webiste and is going to get the Area-51 ALX, but i have to import from america to norway to get it ( i live in norway) and im wondering if the warranty will still count since its across sea. dont hate if this is a stupid question, its just that i havent found any halp about this anywhere.
since its liquid cooling i need warranty incase it leaks.
ive looked up on norwegian computer sites but i havent found any that is as good as the alienware. if any other norwegian person could help me get a gaming pc/parts from komplett.no that is close or better than this:
Overclocked Intel® Core™ i7 990x Extreme Six Core Processor (4.0GHz, 12MB Cache)
12GB DDR3 1333MHz (3x 4GB) Tri Channel Memory
Dual 1GB ATI Radeon™ HD 6870 - ATI CrossFireX™ Enabled
2TB RAID 0 (2x 1TB SATA-II, 7,200 RPM, 32MB Cache HDDs)
24.0” Dell U2410 UltraSharp™ Full HD Monitor
Killer™ 2100 Gaming Network Card
Integrated 7.1 Channel Audio
Liquid cooling system
thanks for your help, dont hate on me, im new to computers kind of and havent gotten good into it yet.
Alienware sucks on multiple levels.
That whole system is based off your cpu, You need to even it out a bit more. Besides the graphics cards, They're quite nice. Especially for the price you can get them for. Give us a price range so we can help you out a bit more
change in plans, i wont buy it, would be way to excpencive to import from usa. :\
but if you could help me find a good pc that is also available in norway prices doesent matter.
You don't need a processor like that. You'll never come close to utilizing the full power of it.
You're better off spending ~$700 on average comp parts that allow you to play any game then spending $4000 on stuff you'll most likely never use to it's full capability.
