2: I agree with you in the fact that they should be paid in some form, with this guy hopefully that's never the full amount up front because I don't see that ever working out well due to his attitude. This situation proves why some people don't deserve money upfront because he didn't even do the work as per requested the first time and now If I had paid upfront already I would of been screwed over.
3: I sent him images of exactly the type of style and design I was looking for in terms of font, color, etc before he even started. If he wasn't comfortable with doing something like I was asking then he should of denied right there and the would of been the end of it. He then spent 34minutes according to discord logs to come up with the first iteration, which turned out to be nothing like I asked for, even the color wasn't right. He then decided to start on something more like what I requested, which was starting to look good, I then raised some concerns with the shield looking rushed and low quality, his response to that was "want me to just remove it", I took 3minutes to reply and he then said he's going to stop the service. Again, I'm sorry he/you feels his time was wasted, but it wasn't. He just didn't go about it the right way, He could of said hey look, I've spent X amount of time on this thus far and am happy to continue but will need some form of payment now (either full upfront or at least half and half after the service is complete) but instead he threw a fit and got an attitude and was saying things like "Yeah well this is why I'm in a special graphics designer group and you're not". Clearly I'm not going to be in a graphics designer group because I don't design graphic's hence why looking for someone to do them for me. If you aren't planning/comfortable with doing something even relatively close to how the client is requesting on the initial piece and then having to start over on something like what they actually requested and complain then save both yours and your clients time and don't take the work.
