TL;DR I can't recommend this guy. He's nothing but full of false promises.
Context:
He has sold a source for 125€ to my client, offering functional Raids, Volcanic mine; giving the impression of a stable base. His intentions were to sell a host-ready source.
Well, oh well.
My client has had difficulties from players freezing in agility courses due to diaries not working to non-accessible volcanic mines (nothing works as said anyways) - as well as logging not working to essential code being commented out for the sake of anti-leeching. Yes, you got that right, a sold source with anti-leeches.
The more I've dug into the source to figure out what else could be wrong (and to check for backdoors), I've came across bugs like mobs being aggressive no matter what combat level, logs not being cuttable, ironmen not being able to open shops, shops you could not buy items from and countless more bugs which definitely speaks against a "host-ready" source.
I am not saying this guy is a bad one on overall, his customer-handling game is on-point; yet his offered solutions are very off and I dare to say he verges to deceitful behaviour because of that. He's has openly admitted that he's sold something "in the hope that it was not half assed" -> and tries to keep the, now undeserved money, for him no matter what. Even tries to blame the leader/founder of the project (which previously had the source) for misleaading advertising.
After multiple attempts on trying to agree with him on a solution (either add/fix raids, volcanic mines like initially agreed or grant a chargeback), He does not listen to the customer and tries to make his way the only way possible.
I am not going to publicize any chat screenshots out of context (but keep them in case of deletion). Yet his behaviour was very miserable and is, in my opinion, not worthy to be called "professional" in any way.
Good luck with sales..
Edit:
At least he tried to offer changes instead of running away.'
It was a very unfortunate event that's for sure, a lot of false promises & content was promised.
I do give him some credit for attempting to assist, but removing some NPC spawns just doesn't seem like a fair compensation IMO;
He does do good work on his web-development, but I'm just giving my insight on the situation that had taken place, for everyone here to take into consideration.
