I have to agree with the other two, there are some talented designers on this site already who have developed their craft for years now, and they reap the rewards of their efforts. I suggest thinking long-term, rather than short term income.
With that being said, you should look around the market, and see the competition and how low they're charging, and whether or not, it is actually worth you selling your work at this very moment in time. If you need any help or have any queries (especially in creating interfaces) let me know.
seems pretty basic, maybe do some free work for vouches or something, whilst improving and trying new thing, before actually selling.
