[Virtual Tax System]
What is this virtual tax system? What does it do? I've created a virtual tax system that collects players taxes every week, to build up over / within the week to do a automatic giveaway. This giveaway is sorted for players who
are currently offline or online. The giveaway occurs EVERY weekend. Players who have paid the tax limit before the weekend, has been entered in for a chance to receive the reward. How are taxes collected? If the player wants a chance
to become the winner at the end of the week. Each item he sells and/or buys from a general store or shop will take 20% of the items overall wealth and will be stored into the end week amount. If the player wants the pot to increase, he/she
is able to keep deducting taxes from their resources from/to the shop, or is simply able to donate their chosen amount via command. At the end of the week, those who qualify to receive a reward, their name will be drawn from an arraylist which contains all possible winners. Once the winner is chosen, the players in-game will be alerted with the winner, and the taxes will be reset and will continue to rebuild for next weeks winner.
Alternatives. HOWEVER. If you would like to make this an economy sink. This could easily become an economy sink IF your economy is really bad. You can make a 10% chance for the winner to become the server. Meaning all of the money the server has collected, will pretty much vanish into thin air to sink the economy. However, You can make it so the more money is in the pot, the greater or less the chance will be to make the money vanish.

Yes, Players technically have their own kingdom. Throne of Miscellania, Just like Runescape.
Each how if your reputation with the kingdom is > 75% you are rewarded with an hourly cache reward (collectable from top floor castle | Same place in Runescape)
How to lose Reputation:
Killing anything while @ the island.
Stealing from stalls.
Pickpocketing.
Not visiting your island within the hour of hourly resource caches.
