Yeah good point. The RSMV style of editing is really centered on fast-paced editing and flow. For promotional videos, it's usually the same expectation: skill, bosses, mini-games. The only thing that separates servers apart is original content. I guess I should've focused more on the originality, but the customer wanted me to go into detail with the skills and so I did. For the editing, I'm just trying to be different. The RSPS style of editing involves AAE, but that results to templates. With Sony Vegas I can go into much more emphasis instead of just having a flashy template that just gives titles to things. And although my style doesn't really fit into promotional videos, I can alter my editing in several ways. There are several different approaches I can use, but those approaches are only governed by the song. Give me some dramatic opera-styled mp3 and you'll see the difference. But yah, I try my best and if I was to stoop down to the mainstream RSPS editing-style, that would be a major downgrade considering my price increase, and that wouldn't satisfy me as the editor. Although, it's all based on what the customer wants.
