I just wanna setup Git on my Eclipse perhaps I can link it with my VPS and update files that way too...

    I have GitHub Developer

I don't know if this is hard(highly doubt it) so just let me know how much you'd want for this.

no need to spend money on this bro, there are tons of tutorials on youtube. it only takes a few minutes. you'll need something like github desktop to see all commits and changes as well.

You know you can import git projects directly into eclipse?

I personally use TortoiseGit as my git client on windows, and can seamlessly import any project I have cloned into eclipse. I'm confused about where you're having issues.

Probably with the gitclient and how to push etc, was definitely confusing when I first started

Yeah I understand, it's just I want to make sure I am doing everything right and I am sure I could use a guide to figure it out but I'd rather just have someone I can ask questions too and they can show me what exactly I need to do for my situation.

Well my basic idea was to push my repository to GitHub, then my VPS will import the project from Github back into the directory... Is this an efficient way to do this? I usually just .zip the files and move them over via Dropbox, but that is getting old, there must be a better way to do it. Thanks for the reply!

Yes, this and just making sure my VPS and my Local server are setup properly for optimized git usage.

Last time I used Github it was basically the same as Dropbox because I had to put my files in a specific folder then sync then, rather than directly from my workspace.

I was using Bitbucket and SourceTree for that.

Send me a PM with your discord, I'll teach you how to do this later this evening for free because you shouldn't have to pay for this.
