If you think going through 1000's of statements that is suppose to check if they have the item, or the object is real, or if the npc is real is easy, then you have multi core brain.
OT: It may not be possible to completely secure your client (like 90% of the shit on the internet) but you can make it hard as a MOFO to decompile and figure out your client verification process. If you have a single method with "return UID;" then even a monkey can decompile and figure out the UID. Use multiple different methods, use hexadecimals, obfuscate your client, etc etc.
