So, at the moment my server is running all the player information out of the MySQL table "Characters" including playername and password with salt.

What I'd like to do is make it connect to the vBulletin "user" table to load just the password and the username from it, so that the user must be registered to login.

So in essence, upon login the server needs to check the username and password with the vBulletin forums "user" table, then have the server load everything else from the table "characters".
