Hello, my name is Josh. I am looking for paid development work.
Ways I can flexible:
1.) We can either contract it
- You pay me upfront, and I cannot code for any other servers during this contracted time.
2.) $50 Per/Hour. (Can negotiate with multiple hours & how many services purchased.
3.) Task by Task
Note: I will NOT do any upfront work on a "tab" (unless we've done business many times, and I feel you are trustworthy). Everything is coded from scratch, so my time is worth your money.
I will NOT release any work I provide you, unless you give me permission, or unless you chose the cheap route for me to copy, paste, and make it compatible for your server and it belonged to me.
Spoiler for Servers I Developed For/Owned:

For that price mate I think you’d better show some previous work or evidence of your skills, rather than saying names of servers no one has ever heard of

Yeah and he has the nerve to ask for $50/hour

No way you've gained enough experience over the past year or so to be charging $50/hr. Either way, your service, your pricing. (For reference, professionals in the field with more experience than you make like $30-40/hr, and that's taxed income too... though obviously certain fields and places pay more)
Also, "Everything is coded from scratch, so my time is worth your money." doesn't sound very assuring to me. It sounds like you rather do things from scratch than leverage frameworks and libraries, because that gives you full control and it takes more time. It really doesn't matter where your code comes from, provided you have permission to use said code. What matters is how well you understand it, and that you get the job done to a satisfactory standard.
That said, good luck on your services.
No need to start insulting over it though, offers on here are take it or leave it, not against the rules to ask for unreasonable prices (after all it's a subjective matter anyway, at least in the sense we're doing atm)
Doesn't sound so unreasonable... Depending on where in life you are, you probably do as well...
Either way it's not necessary for us to insult him for (in our opinion) charging ridiculous rates for what appears to be limited experience.
It's much better to provide some constructive criticism for it, and if you really feel like insulting, you can try to phrase it a little snarky, but still keeping it constructive and reasonable.
People generally focus way too much on other's flaws and wrong doings, instead of working on becoming a better version of themselves. This is the case everywhere, both online and "offline".
This is a terrible way to live, for everyone, halts progress... It also ultimately contributes to worse living conditions for the entirety of society.
I personally know skilled people on this site and off this site that don't charge that.
You'd get started at like 20 tops an hour, build rep and go from there. Even 20 seems bit much from what i'm reading.
