How much would you guys pay for a 512mb ram windows vps, 1gb ram windows vps ?
And lets say i can match the price would you move now?

ive seen 1gb vps's going for around $15-$20 from reputable companies. But I wouldn't even buy a VPS unless it had AT LEAST 2gb

Never buy a windows vps with 1gb ram, most of that will be used for the OS itself and you will be limited on doing anything. You have to keep in mind windows uses more resources than you expect.

Pretty much, wouldn't know about the host myself but 1gb ram min really but advised to get more if you can.

Trentahost 1gb vps goes at 12$/m I've been using it for two consecutive months and it great for a small server.

For the same reason we removed our 512MB RAM VPs plan for $10.99/Mo and upgraded all of our clients to 1GB for the same price of $10.99 on top of that 1GB is not sufficient for anything the OS itself takes up 300MB to operate leaving you with 700MB on top of that many people have dropbox and some have automated backup programs so that takes a cut, now to combat this situation we reduced our VPS pricing from $14.99/Mo to $12.00/Mo for those who need something budget.. don't expect tremendous results for this.. as this would be used for BETA and fly by night games, with that being said many people do run successful games of 20-30 players which works for them. Keeping in mind there are Windows licensing costs which do burn a hole in the pocket and we do cover that too, many hosts charge an extra fee for Windows but we include that.

Exactly, 1GB is the standard required amount, but Windows VPS especially on a XEN is more CPU intensive, where in KVM it's more IO intensive, if your on a KVM your host must have RAID1 or RAID10 for best performance, if your on XEN your host must carry a Dual CPU or at least a 3.3Ghz processor. Preferable one of the Xeon product lines.

Glad to hear the setup, also DDOS protection is the new industry standard, websites and VPS get attacked on a daily basis, if you don't have DDOS protection you can forget about running a game.
