Are there any hosting companies currently out there being advertised on R-S for WEBHOSTING that has ddos protection? I am wanting real ddos protection not just the normal flooder protection that most hosts have.
I thought I read that datasphere had ddos protection but I looked on their site and didn't find any information on it.

My advice, dont purchase from re-sellers.

It isn't anything personal but you guys are still fairly new. I am just helping a friend look for a host. ( I am perfectly fine with Hostgator tbh <3 ) but my friend wants some with good ddos protection that has been around for a while(he has bad experience with new companies I don't know :/ )Quote:

No-one on this forum can offer DDoS mitigation, you need to find a host that specifically does.
We use blacklotus for emps and they seem to do a good job.
[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] offers DDoS protection. Our servers can withstand a DDoS attack up to 2gb a second.

We did initially try some cheaper solutions but they weren't good at all (in fact I doubt they even had any sophisticated filtering/firewalls there.)
