CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 2.6 GHz Processor //CPU isn't a problem with hosting, this is a very good processor for hosting a server. running your server it will not even be @ 20 percent usage even with 500 clients online.

to hold up to 2,000 players with no lag I recommend windows xp as it only takes 512mb to boot up leaving you with 7.5gb free.
Please tell me what server O.S you'd like for your server, I'll be hosting for one lucky person so act fast. Please, I'm only hosting for somebody that really needs it. These kinds of specs would cost a fortune on any standard VPS.
So don't you consider this to be a VPS?
Absolutely! If you install windows server 2003 or windows server 2008 then this CAN be considered a vps.
Will you be running this on your own machine?
Nope! This will be running on a completely separate machine that I was gifted. It's a very expensive machine running with DDos protection to avoid attacks on your server (if you have a stable client).
What's the cache?
You must understand that this is a very expensive machine running to you for FREE! The only thing I ask is that you have a forums website for your server and a donation button. I'd like some of the donation amounts to go to me as I am hosting for you. Again, this is only if you get donations. I don't expect any charge.
Can I get proof?
All the proof you need will be when you connect to the VPS. I can't give screenshots because the system is not yet installed (it'll take about an hour or so once I decide who gets it) and you tell me the system you want.
How long will I be offering hosting?
For as long as you want! I've been given a free valuable system that I have no use for. I mind as well host it for someone who really needs it (since I won't be using it)
Other Requirements:
- You must have knowledge on how to code your server and it must not be leeched meaning you own at least 25% of the server.
- 508+ considering I don't play on older clients
