    Please bear this in mind when hearing the word 'soon' from a software programmer.

    Fasthost tricked me into a 12 month contract

    If you buy one of fasthosts services then you have to keep paying for it every month. You are only allowed to cancel after 12 months are up.

    Which means I have no choice but to keep running my server for the next 12 months or I'm going to lose ALOT of money. And because of this I am unable to upgrade to a better dedicated server or use a different provider.
