He can't just apply offshore rules, clearly he does not understand what the term "offshore" in the web hosting industry really is.

He can't outrule the United States laws by saying "Offshore rules apply" as well there is no rules first of all and he can still get in illegal shiz .

Either start selling offshore hosting (Netherlands is highly suggested) or don't promote your service as offshore. Wait since you didn't know this, don't start a web hosting company.

ever herd of mccolo? wiki them. look how long they lasted lol. you dont actually have to been 'offshore' to provide 'offshore' like hosting, its just you take the risk of getting fucked over by xxxx.

Just so you know, sharktech's DDoS protection is pretty lacking.

My friend had a server at SharkHost a while back. He hosted 711chan on it. He also learned how terrible SharkHost's DDoS protection was the hard way... If you're looking for real DDoS protection, go with Staminus, SoftLayer, or Frantech (once we're settled in California)
